About Me

Born on May 8th 1980 in Stockport.
Moved to Anglesey when I was 2 years old. Lived there for 11 years and spoke fluent Welsh - although my parents couldn't speak the language!
Moved to the seaside town of Prestatyn when I was 13 and because my new school didn't do drama classes - my mum and dad did one of the best things ever - they enrolled me at the local theatre's YOUTH THEATRE.
My confidence and love of theatre and acting just grew. I performed in such roles as 'Tree No 2' in The Wizard of Oz and the 'March Hare' in Alice in Wonderland. Acting was all I ever wanted to do with my life and I made some incredible friends there.
I then went to college and did a BTEC in Performing Arts - I just couldn't believe I was able to get up in the morning and do the one thing I loved all day long. I even went in on my days off (OK, some of the day was spent in the local pub, drinking vodka oranges and Hooch with my friends...)!
After college I went to the University of Salford and did a HND in Physical Theatre and Dance. I basically rolled on the floor for 2 years!
After university, I felt like I'd had enough of performing and decided to have a break from it and so I did lots of jobs - everything from a sales cold caller to a supervisor in a clothes shop!
I worked my way up at Ticketmaster to an Account Executive and they even flew me to their offices in Vancouver for 10 days - this was when I could feel myself slipping in to a career that I didn't want to be in.

So, I changed my life. I got a part time job and quit my job at TM. I handed my notice in, sobbing on my boss' shoulder, telling him I really wanted to be a writer. He understood and told me I should do whatever made me happy.

Since leaving, I have written and produced several plays, performed stand-up comedy all over the North West and recently gone in to business with two friends. I co-run Elite Talent Theatre School.
